Ik fietste altijd langs een koolzaadveldje. Het lag vlak bij mijn school, vandaar. Het veld was er al zo lang als ik me kon herinneren. Hoe hard het soms ook stormde, de gele bloemen leek het niet te deren. Op een zonnige lentedag fietste ik als gewoonlijk langs het veldje. Automatisch wendde ik mijn blik van het fietspad af om een blik op de vertrouwde gele bloemen te werpen. Ik viel bijna van mijn fiets af. Authors Note: Dit verhaal heb ik geschreven voor een schrijfwedstrijd met het thema: 'Niets is wat het lijkt '. Ik vroeg me af hoe mensen op dit verhaal zouden reageren. Voor de wedstrijd moest de tekst 600 woorden hebben. Dat was voor mij een nogal zware opgave XD. Ik vind de originele versie toch beter dan de ingekorte, dus heb ik deze versie op DA geplaatst.
